Mood Nº1

May 19, 2015

Inspired by the colors and life of Spring, I decided to shoot these flowers at my grandma's a few weeks ago. I thought it's very strange, how we don't notice things that have been under our nose for a long time, and suddenly they fade away. That's what happened to me with all these beautiful flowers. I was always aware of them, but not of their beauty.

And now, they're all dying. And my grandma's moving. Ironic, no? Well, I think this post just got too nostalgic and sentimental. I just wanted to share some thoughts. Hope you have a lovely day!

The Watch II

May 14, 2015

Here's another still life I worked in collaboration with Daniel Wellington again. This time, for Spring/Summer. I was really inspired by the way light moves and gets into our skin. How we suddenly become new with it. How we renovate ourselves. How everything seems fresh, relaxed and natural again.

I decided to go for the Classic Glasgow watch this time, the Nato strap is a friendly reminder of summer, the sand and the ocean. It has a certain reminiscence of freedom, that we forget about sometimes. It looks casual, but it's still a very elegant and versatile piece. One of my favorites.

The folks at Daniel Wellington were kind enough (again) to create another discount code for Spring. You can use the code 'victorstonemDW' until June 15th. So yeah, you better hurry and pick your favorite one!

Radical Transparency - The Twill Snap Backpack

April 21, 2015

I feel like I've abandoned this blog. I know It's been a couple of months since my last post but honestly, I've been crazy busy these days, so I didn't have the time to post as much content as I used to. Anyway, here I am again (I think?). Okay, now let's talk about this amazing Everlane backpack that I'm obsessed about.

When this backpack arrived on the mail (around last Fall), I was a bit confused. The color was perfect but somehow it looked too big for me. At least that was my first impression.

Once I started putting all my [unbelievable pile of] stuff inside, it started to take a better shape. Since then, it has been my main backpack for school, work and even for some of my trips. It's just incredibly functional, my laptop fits perfect on the sleeve, the brown leather is gorgeous, and I can put all my equipment there if I'm working on a shoot. Great, no? Well, I'll write a post on how I pack soon.

Well nowadays, I'm used to strangers stoping me on the streets and claiming their love for this beautiful piece of design: 'Nice bag! Where did you get it?'. Yup, it's awkward sometimes; but when they ask, I answer it's from Everlane (with a really big smile on my face). Well what can I say? This backpack makes me very happy!

ARTE SAN RAMÓN

February 23, 2015

Last year, I managed to visit Arte San Ramón; an art gallery located in the center of the city. I've known this gallery for years, my mom used to work there so I remembered how the place looked like before its renovation. But when I came back, I was mesmerized.

It's the clean lines, the natural light that enters through the ceilings, the simplicity and also the colors and brightness of the marvelous art pieces that make Arte San Ramón such a beautiful spot in the middle of all the chaos. It's an amazing place to find some inspiration. Well, I'll let these photos speak for themselves.

Mayte

January 27, 2015

Here's my friend Mayte Esteban. A very talented interior designer whose work I admire.

Last month I got the chance to take pictures of her and some of the products she designed for an exhibition/pop-up shop called Cosecha. It's easy to fall in love with the things she designs, they're simple, yet functional and beautiful. I mean, just look at that lamp!!

It was so cool to be immersed into her world for a while. She's such an interesting person.
