Gift wrapping with Carlo / PATIOS

December 15, 2014

This past weekend, I was working on a super cool project with my friends Carlo, Emmanuell and Nelia. The idea was to create Christmas-inspired still life shots for Carlo and Nelia's new book called "PATIOS".

PATIOS is Nelia's second book, in co-edition with Carlo. The book explores all the hidden and forgotten backyards in the beautiful Colonial City of Santo Domingo. The photographers (Amadeo Anselin, Nemanja Brankovic, Ricardo Briones and Carlo Reyes) captured such amazing places that I could have never imagined they existed.

For me, this book is on top of my Christmas list. It's such a great source of inspiration. And honestly, after looking at it, I just want to go and explore all these breathtaking places in my beautiful city.

Oh, and one of the most beautiful things about this? The sales of the book go to the fundation "Abriendo Camino", which works on benefit of the children and teenagers living in Villa Agricola. So yeah guys, it's all for a good cause!

Friday Stills

February 21, 2014

Hello!

So, this was a little story I decided to shoot earlier today. You know, I'm feeling very inspired by interiors and still life. Even my Instagram feed is full of shots like that. It's some kind of obsession. But to be honest, sometimes it's a little bit difficult to find the right props for the photos.

This time, I grabbed my dad's old watch and some vintage art and photography books I stole from grandma. Anyway, this is just an experiment. I like to change the game and try different things sometimes, haha. I hope you like how the pictures came out! :)

Quitasueño Studios

October 28, 2013

After talking a lot about it and uploading photos to Instagram , it's finally time to show you some pictures of my visit to the film set I told you about!

So, last month I was invited to this Studio, to see a little preview of the set and how everything was going to be organized for the film. I still can't believe it. I felt so honored to be there and just talk about how things were going to be. Ahhh..
To be honest, I love taking pictures of interiors and all that. So when I entered there, I kind of felt like I was in heaven. No, really. The set was very organized, very bohemian and well designed. I loved it.

Sadly, I can't talk about the movie right now but let me tell you something, it's going to be awesomeee. Ohh, I'm thinking about making a short film right now, what do you think?

A book I love / Los Cuadernos

October 09, 2013

Hello!

Today I want to share one of my main sources of inspiration with you. I've had this book for about a year and a half now, and I'm sure you've probably heard of it (maybe?) Well, let me tell you...
